The moment has come that every heavy metal fan in the UK has been waiting for..... the first Download Festival announcement.

I haven't been to Download since 2023 because the lineup was worth the money to me, but the lineup for 2026, is definitely worth it, especially seeing as I am early enough to be on the instalment plan so it's only going to be £44 a month.

In just this announcement, I'm super excited for Limp Bizkit (never seen them live), Guns 'n' Roses, Linkin Park, Electric Callboy, Cypress Hill, Halestorm, Ice Nine Kills, Baby Metal, Static-X, Bloodywood, Dogstar, Hollywood Undead, POD, Rory and Drowning Pool.

With this many bands that I would love to see on the lineup, I'm preparing myself for a lot of schedule clashing haha.
